Driver SPG + HomeAid Inland Empire

Since our inception, Driver SPG has always been different than other General Contractors. We place a strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and having a positive impact in our community. That’s why we jumped at the opportunity to work with an organization like HomeAid Inland Empire that shares the same values. Since 1989, HomeAid IE has worked with various service provider partners to renovate or build more than $16.7 million of dignified, quality shelter facilities for families experiencing homelessness. Recently, Driver SPG was named Builder Captain for the HomeAid and Path of Life Ministries Emergency Shelter expansion project.

The project expands the shelter’s 59-bed facility by adding an additional 20 permanent beds. The project was funded largely through a grant from the Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation. However, in order to make the grant money go as far as possible, Driver SPG, our subcontractors, and HomeAid provided more than $28,000 of in-kind donations, representing over 30 percent of the project’s total cost. Driver SPG was honored to be the General Contractor for this project and is excited to continue working with HomeAid to support families in our community who are in need of housing.
