Driver SPG’s Subzero/Wolf Showroom Project in Costa Mesa, California recently won the Award of Merit for Best Commercial Project – under 20,000 SF at PCBC’s 53rd Annual Gold Nugget Awards.
The Gold Nugget Awards are the oldest and most prestigious design awards in the nation and is the center of PCBC. The awards recognize those who improve our communities through exceptional concepts in design, planning and development. They are open to all builders, developers, architects and land planners with projects located Internationally and all over the United States. Excellence and innovation in addressing intricate design/build issues is the common thread of all winners who receive this prestigious award.
Driver SPG was thrilled to receive this award and was honored to be amongst the company of other great projects. The Subzero/Wolf Showroom Project involved strategic planning and collaboration with the owner, Subzero/Wolf Corporate and Architect, Zingg Design Inc. to create a distinctive space and showroom.
Driver SPG provided complete tenant improvement to the existing building to create a high-end showroom, office space, and test kitchen for Subzero/Wolf Corporate. The space includes indoor and outdoor kitchen vignettes along with product display areas, prep kitchens, and demonstration kitchens. In addition, there are also administrative offices, a conference room, storage rooms, lounge areas, and a coffee bar.
