This new facility has replaced the institute’s existing campus and will allow them to expand their services to the more than 7,000 children, adults, and seniors they serve annually. The new building features an open-air courtyard, learning resource center, Braille library, education center, classrooms, art studios, and technology labs, ceramics studio, sight-impaired training apartment, exterior gardens, dog run, low vision specialist room with customized sighting and controls, and outdoor gathering spots.
