Driver SPG team members recently volunteered by hosting dinner and a movie night at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Beach. The Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for families with critically-ill children. They provide a place to stay, a source of comfort and care, and a chance for families to focus all of their energy on the one thing that matters most: their child. Through gifts of time, talent, and financial support, the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our team served pizza and salad to the 60 people staying at the Ronald McDonald house and also hosted a movie screening with popcorn, juice boxes, and fruit snacks. We hope it provided a few hours of rest and fun for the families during a difficult time in their lives. Thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered!
