Driver SPG recently hosted the Second Annual Dave Anderson Memorial Golf Tournament at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. The tournament celebrates the memory of Dave Anderson, a close friend of Driver SPG President, Karl Kreutziger, and colleague in the construction industry. This year, more than 100 golfers came out to enjoy a sunny day on the course and participate in the tournament.
The event included a putting competition before teeing off that was won by Dave’s son, Kohl Anderson, who was the only person to make the 35-foot putt. The tournament also featured awards for Closest to the Pin on Hole 7 and Longest Drive on Hole 15. After a full day of golfing and sharing stories about Dave, everyone got together for dinner and an awards ceremony in the clubhouse.
This year, through many generous donations and sponsorships, the tournament raised $30,000 that will be put into an education fund for Dave’s four children. We would like to say thank you to all of our sponsors and everyone who participated in the tournament for making the event such a success and honoring Dave’s memory. We look forward to seeing everyone out on the golf course again next September!
