Recently, we held our fourth annual Open House event at our office in Anaheim. Each year, we invite Owners, Architects, and Engineers from the industry to visit our office for an evening of good food and giving back.
This year, our guests were able to take a look at some of our recent projects in the Project Gallery, enjoy live jazz music, be mesmerized by the magic of Jack Velour, and visit with three of our non-profit partners. For each guest that attended, Driver SPG has pledged to sponsor a field trip for a child from Project Hope Alliance – a local non-profit that serves homeless children in Orange County – to visit The Discovery Cube in Santa Ana. We had 100 guests attend our event, so 100 kids will get to enjoy a fun day of learning at The Discovery Cube!
We also had the ALS Association of Orange County and HomeAid Inland Empire attend the event to talk to our guests about some of the exciting projects Driver SPG is working on this year. This year, Driver SPG has committed to renovating six homes for individuals in Orange County who are living with ALS and we have already completed the first two projects. Also, as a result of the Open House event, Driver SPG was able to raise $12,500 in corporate sponsorships for HomeAid Inland Empire as well as donate boxes of diapers for their Essentials for Young Lives campaign.
The evening also featured a raffle where we gave away premier tickets to an Angel’s game, a Newport Harbor Boat Cruise, golf for two at Cota de Caza Golf Course, and a one night stay at the Balboa Bay Resort, including dinner at the new A&O Restaurant.
We want to thank everyone who was able to come for making it such a fun and memorable night! To see more pictures from the event, click here.
