Dave Anderson Memorial Golf Tournament

Last Thursday, Driver SPG hosted the Dave Anderson Memorial Golf Tournament at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. Dave Anderson, a dear friend and colleague in the industry, passed away last December after a long battle with lung cancer. More than 130 friends and colleagues in the construction industry attended the tournament, which raised money toward education costs for Dave’s four children. Dave’s son Kohl started off the tournament with the inaugural drive and things got under way. The day was full of laughs, stories, and drinks on the golf course, just the way Dave would’ve wanted it.

After all 18 holes, everyone gathered in the ballroom for food and awards. The tournament featured a Longest Putt competition, Longest Drive contest, and an award for the “Most Honest” team. Driver SPG President, Karl Kreutziger, was the event’s emcee and also shared a few words about his 25-year friendship with Dave Anderson and the important role Dave played in his life and career. At the end of the day, the tournament raised $25,000 for Dave’s children. The event was a complete success and a special day for everyone in attendance. We would like to say thank you to our sponsors and everyone who participated for their generous donations. We’ll see you on the fairway next year on September 18, 2014!

Thank you to all of our sponsors:
